News and Announcements

Packet Pickup and Registration
Registration packets are available for pickup in the front office. We recommend that packets be picked up before your registration day so that you may fill them out in the comfort of your home. Bring your completed packet to the MPR on your registration day to turn in your paperwork, pick up a temporary ID card, check out textbooks, and sign up for ASB and CLUB Live, buy your yearbook, and have a campus tour. PE clothes will be sold under the Pavilion on TUESDAY, July 29th, only from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Remember that you must clear any library fees before picking up the packet. Also, if you have not already brought in proof of the Tdap vaccination (incoming 7th graders only), that must also be shown before you can pick up your packet.

Sharp increase in number of Pertussis cases reported in California in 2013
Pertussis, or whooping cough, is a serious disease which can be guarded against by getting the TDAP vaccination. Nearly twice as many pertussis cases were reported in California in 2013 as compared to 2012. Protect your child by getting the TDAP vaccine! This is a state requirement to enter 7th grade. Don't wait, the lines get long and the appointments get snatched up close to the start of the new school year.

Infants are too young to get the vaccination against pertussis. Most of the pertussis cases are infants less than 4 months old. The best way to protect these fragile little babies to vaccinate our 11 and 12 year old children against pertussis.

If you have a student who will enter the 7th grade next fall, please provide proof of the TDAP vaccine to our health office. If your student has not yet had the TDAP vaccine, please schedule a vaccination as soon as possible and bring proof of vaccination to our health office.
