Health Career Academies
Future Canyon Springs High School Health Careers Academy students from Vista Heights Middle School expanded their views of the world with their exciting visit to the California Science Center. The students started the day with the breathtaking film Galapagos 3D: Nature's Wonderland. Followed by the viewing of the special exhibition: The Dead Sea Scrolls. This exhibition explores the science and significance of the Dead Sea Scrolls, manuscripts written and hidden in caves 2000 years ago and not discovered until 1947. Topping off the day with an amazing visit to the Samuel Oschin Pavilion, to see the space shuttle Endeavour up close and the discovery of the science behind this amazing space vehicle. It was a valuable learning experience for the students.
